NDIS Support and Therapeutic Services Australia

We work with individuals, families, and carers to deliver practical, respectful support aligned with NDIS goals. Our approach prioritises dignity, autonomy, and long-term outcomes, rather than short-term compliance or behaviour control.

Perfectly Imperfect provides neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed NDIS support for people with neurodevelopmental and psychosocial disabilities. Based in Sydney and available Australia-wide via telehealth, our services focus on building capacity, supporting regulation, and improving everyday functioning.

NDIS Supports

We deliver NDIS supports that centre your needs, rights, and dignity. Our services are aligned with capacity building, functional outcomes, and long-term well-being.

Our NDIS supports include:

  • Neurodiversity-affirming positive behaviour support
  • Therapeutic support, aligned with nervous system safety.
  • Behaviour support planning and implementation
  • NDIS advocacy for access, plan meetings, reviews, and appeals

We focus on support that is realistic, flexible, and responsive to how capacity can change over time.

Our Approach to Behaviour Support

Our behaviour support model is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. We do not use compliance-based strategies or behaviour suppression.

We understand behaviour as communication and build supports that reflect:

  • A person’s identity and lived experience
  • Environmental and sensory factors
  • Nervous system regulation and safety
  • Functional needs and capacity

Our goal is to reduce distress, increase safety, and support meaningful participation in everyday life.

Behaviour Tracker Tool

We offer a positive behaviour tracker tool designed to capture real-life behaviour experiences in a respectful, low-pressure way.

This tool supports:

  • Accurate and meaningful data collection
  • Reduced stress compared to staged observation
  • Better understanding of patterns and triggers
    * Improved collaboration between individuals, families, and practitioners

This allows behaviour support to be based on real context rather than assumptions.

Flexible and Accessible Support

All NDIS services are available in Sydney and across Australia through secure telehealth. This ensures consistent access to counselling, behaviour support, and advocacy regardless of location.

Our support is designed to be practical, person-centred, and aligned with real-world needs, not generic or one-size-fits-all.
